Each project begins with the place: its culture, history, climate and spirit. I don’t impose a form. I listen for the story already embedded in the site and let that story shape the building.
The climate, the land, the culture and the people. The desert sun, the Emirati courtyard house, the Bedouin tent, the coast of an island nation.
A story drawn from that context, or from the client: a knight’s sword, the letter mim, a cell nucleus, the rivers of paradise.
The story becomes plan, section and material, and sustainability is part of it from the first sketch, never an added layer.

A garden that sinks into the ground to find shade and cool air.

Faris, the client’s name, means knight. Knight, sword, the letter F and finally the plan.

The plan takes the shape of م for Moheiri, turning the house inward for privacy and views.
Courtyard Villa
Every room looks onto a shaded courtyard and pool, for privacy and natural shade.
Villa Sabil
A narrow stream runs through a shaded space beneath a bridge, creating a cool microclimate.

“…in search of new clues.” A crescent of wings meeting at a centromere for scientists to gather.
